The 1590Z063 is the long, narrow member of the 1590Z Type 4X/6P family: a 150 mm x 64 mm x 36 mm natural diecast aluminum enclosure. It fits elongated circuit boards, LED drivers, sensor strips and inline wiring for OEM engineers and electricians working in wet, dusty or washdown environments.
Construction is a diecast aluminum alloy box and lid with a two-piece tongue and groove joint. A replaceable one-piece silicone rubber gasket, rated -40C to +150C (-40F to 302F), is packed loose inside, and four recessed stainless steel machine screws fasten the lid into tapped holes. The drawing gives an average wall thickness of 3.00 mm [.12 in].
The series table lists 5.91 in (150 mm) length, 2.52 in (64 mm) width, 1.42 in (36 mm) total depth and 0.39 in (10 mm) lid depth. Inside, the drawing shows 141.61 mm [5.58 in] length, 55.61 mm [2.19 in] width and 30.40 mm [1.20 in] depth. There is no internal mounting shelf.
