The 1590XFLBK is the textured black, flanged-lid member of the 1590X size: a 145 x 121 x 56 mm diecast aluminum enclosure whose lid carries an integrated wall-mounting flange. It suits integrators and equipment builders who want a surface-mounted metal housing with a finished black appearance.
The aluminum alloy casting is coated in tough polyester powder paint for a lasting finish, even after machining, and black screws are included to enhance appearance. Lap joint construction where the lid and box meet protects against dust and splashing water; the standard version is designed to meet IP54.
Nominal box size is 5.72 in x 4.77 in x 2.22 in (145 mm x 121 mm x 56 mm), and overall length across the lid flange is 175.20 mm [6.898 in]. The interior measures 138.09 mm [5.437 in] by 114.09 mm [4.492 in] with 52.40 mm [2.063 in] of height; listed maximum P.C. board dimensions are 113.09 mm and 137.09 mm.
Supplied with box, lid and four 6-32 UNC cover screws (recommended torque 50-55 cN.m / 71-78 ozf.in). For IP65, add gasket kit 1590XGASKET and liquid resistant screws, or choose the factory water-tight 1590WXFLBK. The 1590XFLBK ships in shrink wrap at 0.88 lbs (0.40 kg) and is RoHS and REACH compliant.
