Hammond 1590WUFL 120x120x59 mm IP65 Diecast Enclosure, Flanged Lid

The 1590WUFL pairs a 120 x 120 mm watertight diecast aluminum box with a wall-mounting flange integrated into the lid. It suits panel builders, OEM engineers and field installers who want to fix an IP65-rated housing to a wall or machine and then access the electronics from the back. The nominal size is 120 x 120 x 59 mm, and the flanged lid brings the overall length to 150.00 mm [5.906 in].

Box and lid are cast from aluminum alloy that is easy to drill and mill. The lap joint where lid and box meet protects against dust and splashing water, while the silicone gasket, supplied loose inside the enclosure, lifts the design to IP65 once installed on the lid. Low side wall draft angles of 2° or less keep board mounting straightforward. The natural aluminum version is left unpainted and vibra finished for a smooth surface with no sharp edges.

Usable space inside the box is 112.65 x 112.65 mm [4.435 x 4.435 in] with an inside height of 53.60 mm [2.110 in]; overall height is 58.60 mm [2.307 in]. Maximum PC board size is 111.74 x 111.74 mm.

Four 6-32 UNC cover screws thread into factory-tapped holes; torque them to 25-30 cN.m [36-43 ozf.in] with the gasket fitted, or 50-55 cN.m [71-78 ozf.in] without. The assembly includes box, lid and four screws, is RoHS and REACH compliant, and comes shrink wrapped. Replacement gaskets are available as kit 1590QGASKET.
