The 1590WD is a watertight diecast aluminum enclosure measuring 7.39 in x 4.7 in x 2.2 in (188 mm x 119 mm x 56 mm), giving electronics builders and OEM engineers a long, IP65-rated instrument housing with no mounting flanges. It is the water-tight version of the 1590D, finished in natural aluminum.
Box and lid are made from diecast aluminum alloy, a rugged material that is tough yet easy to machine. This version has no mounting flanges: the box and lid meet in a lap joint, leaving the exterior plain and free for machining. The natural aluminum finish is vibra finished for a smooth surface with no sharp edges, and the alloy remains easy to machine. Low side wall draft angles (2° or less) make PC board mounting straightforward.
