The 1590QFL is the flanged-lid version of the square 1590Q diecast aluminum enclosure, in natural aluminum. The wall-mounting flange is integrated into the lid, so the box can be fixed to a wall or panel lid-side while the body remains a clean 120 x 120 x 34 mm (4.72 x 4.72 x 1.34 in) housing. It suits installers, facilities teams and OEM designers who need a compact wall-mount electronics box.
Per the drawing, the overall length across the lid flange is 150.00 mm (5.906 in), the flange mounting holes are on 136.00 mm (5.354 in) centres, and overall height is 34.00 mm (1.339 in). Box and lid are diecast aluminum alloy joined with a lap joint that protects against dust and splashing water; this standard version is designed to meet IP54. In natural aluminum it is unpainted and vibra finished, leaving a smooth surface with no sharp edges.
The interior measures 113.27 mm (4.460 in) long, 113.77 mm (4.479 in) wide and 28.90 mm (1.138 in) high, and accepts P.C. boards up to 112.82 x 112.82 mm. A draft angle of 2° or less on the side walls helps with board mounting.
Four 6-32 UNC cover screws are included and thread into factory-tapped holes, with a recommended torque of 50-55 cN.m [71-78 ozf.in] (25-30 cN.m [36-43 ozf.in] with a gasket). The water-tight 1590WQFL is designed to meet IP65, and the 1590QGASKET kit can upgrade this part. RoHS and REACH compliant; shipped shrink wrapped at 0.69 lbs (0.31 kg).
