The 1590N1FL is a 121 x 66 x 40 mm diecast aluminum enclosure whose wall-mounting flange is integrated into the lid. Mounting through the lid leaves the box body unobstructed, a useful layout for wall-mounted controls, sensors and interface boxes where the open side faces the mounting surface. The finish is natural aluminum.
It is built from diecast aluminum alloy, which is tough yet easy to machine, and the unpainted version is vibra finished for a smooth surface with no sharp edges. Lap joint construction between lid and box protects against dust and splashing water; this standard version is designed to meet IP54.
The drawing shows 149.50 mm [5.886 in] overall length including the flanged lid, 65.50 mm [2.579 in] box width and 39.80 mm [1.567 in] height. Inside dimensions are 115.91 x 60.21 mm with 35.45 mm [1.396 in] of inside height, and maximum PC board dimensions are listed as 115.91 and 60.21 mm.
The purchased assembly includes box, lid and 4 cover screws in factory-tapped 6-32 UNC holes; recommended torque is 50-55 cN.m. The water-tight equivalent is 1590WN1FL and 1590NGASKET is the matching gasket kit. Shipping weight 0.38 lbs (0.17 kg); RoHS and REACH compliant.
