The 1590LBF is the compact 51 mm x 51 mm x 31 mm (1.99 in x 1.99 in x 1.22 in) 1590 Series diecast aluminum box with a welded flanged bottom plate. It gives installers and OEM designers a small metal housing that screws straight onto a wall, panel or piece of equipment.
The drawing shows the flange extending to 78.99 mm [3.110 in] overall, with 3.96 mm [0.156 in] mounting holes on 67.72 mm x 25.40 mm [2.666 in x 1.000 in] centres. Height including the flange is 32.50 mm [1.280 in]. The box is 50.55 mm x 50.60 mm outside, with 45.50 mm [1.791 in] of inside length and width and 27.05 mm [1.065 in] of inside height; P.C. boards up to 44.7 mm square fit.
Box and lid are diecast aluminum alloy that is tough yet easy to machine, finished here in natural vibra finished aluminum with no sharp edges. A lap joint between lid and box protects against dust and splashing water, and the standard version is designed to meet IP54. Side walls have a draft angle of 2° or less for easy board mounting.
The 1590LBF includes the box, lid and 4 cover screws threaded into factory-tapped 6-32 UNC holes (recommended torque 50-55 cN.m [71-78 ozf.in]). Add the 1590LBGASKET kit for IP65 with lid screws at 25-30 cN.m [36-43 ozf.in], or order the water-tight 1590WLBF. RoHS and REACH compliant; 0.18 lbs (0.08 kg), shrink wrapped.
