The 1590KKF is the low-profile 125 mm x 125 mm x 57 mm (4.91 in x 4.91 in x 2.24 in) 1590 Series enclosure with a welded flanged bottom plate. It lets electricians and OEM engineers bolt a slim diecast aluminum housing directly onto a wall, panel or machine without separate brackets.
The drawing shows a flange plate 154.18 mm [6.070 in] long and 112.06 mm [4.412 in] wide, with 3.96 mm [0.156 in] mounting holes on 142.90 mm x 100.58 mm [5.626 in x 3.960 in] centres. Overall height with the flange is 58.50 mm [2.303 in]. The box measures 124.80 mm [4.913 in] square outside, with an inside length of 116.94 mm [4.604 in], inside width of 116.44 mm [4.584 in] and 51.30 mm [2.020 in] of inside height; P.C. boards up to 116.38 mm square fit.
Construction is diecast aluminum alloy that machines easily, in an unpainted, vibra finished natural surface with no sharp edges. The lap joint lid protects against dust and splashing water, and the standard version is designed to meet IP54. Side walls have a draft angle of 2° or less for easy board mounting.
Included are the box, lid and 4 cover screws in factory-tapped 6-32 UNC holes (recommended torque 50-55 cN.m [71-78 ozf.in]). The 1590KGASKET kit upgrades the 1590KKF to IP65 with lid screws at 25-30 cN.m [36-43 ozf.in], and the water-tight version is 1590WKKF. RoHS and REACH compliant; 1.1 lbs (0.50 kg), shrink wrapped.
