The 1590JFBK brings together the mid-size 1590J body, 5.71 in x 3.74 in x 1.93 in (145 mm x 95 mm x 49 mm), a welded bottom mounting flange and a textured black finish. It is built for OEM engineers, integrators and installers who want a larger, finished metal housing that fastens directly to a wall, panel or frame.
The manufacturer drawing gives an overall flange length of 172.97 mm [6.810 in], with 3.96 mm [.156 in] mounting holes on 161.70 mm [6.366 in] centres, and an overall height of 49.10 mm [1.933 in]. The interior is 139.14 mm [5.478 in] long, 89.04 mm [3.505 in] wide and 44.50 mm [1.752 in] high, accepting P.C. boards up to 138.14 x 88.04 mm.
Diecast aluminum alloy box and lid are coated with a tough textured black polyester powder paint that keeps a lasting finish, even after machining, and black screws are included. Lap joint construction protects against dust and splashing water to an IP54 design rating, and side walls are drafted at 2° or less for easy board mounting.
Supplied shrink wrapped with box, lid and four 6-32 UNC cover screws (50-55 cN.m [71-78 ozf.in] recommended), the 1590JFBK is RoHS and REACH compliant. The water-tight black version is 1590WJFBK, and the 1590JGASKET kit offers an IP65 upgrade.
