The 1590JF is the 1590J diecast aluminum enclosure, nominally 5.71 in x 3.74 in x 1.93 in (145 mm x 95 mm x 49 mm), with a flanged bottom plate for wall or panel mounting. It is aimed at integrators, facilities teams and OEM builders who need a mid-size metal housing they can fix securely in place.
The drawing notes that the bottom flange is welded. Overall length across the flange is 172.97 mm [6.810 in], with 3.96 mm [.156 in] mounting holes on 161.70 mm [6.366 in] centres and an overall height of 49.10 mm [1.933 in]. Inside, the box measures 139.14 mm [5.478 in] x 89.04 mm [3.505 in] x 44.50 mm [1.752 in], and the maximum P.C. board is 138.14 x 88.04 mm.
Box and lid are diecast aluminum alloy, tough and easy to machine. This natural version is unpainted and vibra finished for a smooth surface with no sharp edges. Lap joint construction where lid and box meet protects against dust and splashing water, the standard enclosure is designed to meet IP54, and side walls have a draft of 2° or less.
The 1590JF ships shrink wrapped with box, lid and four 6-32 UNC cover screws; recommended torque is 50-55 cN.m [71-78 ozf.in]. For IP65, choose the 1590WJF or add the 1590JGASKET kit. RoHS and REACH compliant, 0.86 lbs (0.39 kg).
