The 1590B3FBK is the textured black, flanged-bottom version of the 116 x 77 x 38 mm 1590B3 diecast aluminum enclosure. The welded base flange lets integrators and OEM builders screw the enclosure to a wall, panel or chassis while keeping a finished black appearance.
The diecast aluminum alloy box and lid carry tough polyester powder paint for a lasting finish, even after machining, and black screws are included to enhance appearance. Lap joint construction where lid and box meet protects against dust and splashing water; the standard version is designed to meet IP54.
Listed size is 4.57 in x 3.03 in x 1.48 in (116 mm x 77 mm x 38 mm). The drawing shows 143.51 mm [5.650 in] overall length including the flange, a 116.00 mm box, 77.00 mm [3.031 in] width and 39.00 mm [1.535 in] overall height. Inside dimensions are 110.67 x 71.67 x 33.50 mm, and listed max PC board values are 69.67 mm and 108.67 mm.
Each 1590B3FBK is shrink wrapped with box, lid and 4 cover screws in factory-tapped 6-32 UNC holes (50-55 cN.m [71-78 ozf.in] recommended). For liquid resistance order 1590WB3FBK or add the 1590B3GASKET kit. Factory milling, drilling and printing plus STEP or IGES models are available.
