The 1590B2FBK is the black, flanged-bottom version of the 1590B2 diecast aluminum enclosure. A welded flange plate on the base lets it be fixed to a wall, panel or chassis, while the textured black paint gives a finished appearance for OEM products and field installations.
Box and lid are diecast aluminum alloy with tough polyester powder paint that keeps a lasting finish, even after machining; black screws are included to enhance appearance. Lap joint construction where lid and box meet protects against dust and splashing water, and the standard version is designed to meet IP54.
Listed size is 4.43 in x 2.38 in x 1.48 in (113 mm x 60 mm x 38 mm). The drawing shows 140.21 mm [5.520 in] overall length including the flange, a 112.40 mm [4.425 in] box length, 60.50 mm [2.382 in] width and 39.00 mm [1.535 in] overall height, with inside dimensions of 106.77 x 55.17 x 33.50 mm. Listed max PC board values are 53.17 mm and 104.77 mm.
Each 1590B2FBK comes shrink wrapped with box, lid and 4 cover screws in factory-tapped 6-32 UNC holes, recommended torque 50-55 cN.m [71-78 ozf.in]. For liquid resistance choose 1590WB2FBK or fit the 1590BGASKET kit. Factory milling, drilling and printing are available, as are STEP or IGES models.
