The 1589W8F1BKRR is a 19-inch rackmount basic PDU (outlet strip) rated 20A, with eight NEMA 5-20R receptacles and eight individual on/off power switches. It is built for IT, AV, broadcast, telecom and industrial users who need dependable rack-based power distribution plus the ability to control each connected device at the receptacle level, without unplugging cables.

Outlet-level switching makes power cycling and troubleshooting fast and helps eliminate phantom power draw from idle equipment. A resettable circuit breaker provides integrated circuit protection to help safeguard connected devices from electrical overloads. Power is supplied through a 6 ft 12/3 SJT cord terminated in a straight-blade NEMA 5-20P plug, suited to demanding applications.

Construction is a heavy-duty housing finished in black powder coat that is GREENGUARD, TSCA and RoHS compliant. Overall dimensions are 1.72 in (44 mm) high, 19.00 in (483 mm) wide and 3.66 in (93 mm) deep, with all eight outlets on the rear of the unit. Four 0.250 in x 0.375 in mounting slots allow rack or cabinet installation in a 19-inch rack, and four rubber feet are included for surface placement on a workstation, test bench or shelf when rack mounting is not required.
