Hammond 1589H6G1BKRR 1U 20A PDU, 6 Rear 5-20R Outlets, 15 ft Cord

The 1589H6G1BKRR is a 1U horizontal rackmount power distribution unit that delivers 20A single-phase power inside a standard 19-inch rack or cabinet. All six NEMA 5-20R receptacles face the rear of the unit, so power connections land where most server, network and AV equipment cords terminate, keeping the front of the rack clear and the cabling organized. It is intended for IT, networking, telecom, AV, broadcast, test and industrial rack builds that need higher-current branch distribution than a standard 15A strip.

The assembly uses black painted steel front and back panels in a textured RAL9005 black powder coat finish, and the series finish meets applicable GREENGUARD indoor air quality and RoHS requirements. Heavy-duty 5-20R receptacles are rated 20A, 125VAC and accept both NEMA 5-15P and 5-20P equipment plugs, so a mix of 15A and 20A devices can be served from one strip.

Overall dimensions are 1.72 in (44 mm) high by 19.00 in (483 mm) wide by 2.66 in (68 mm) deep, and shipping weight is 4 lbs (1.81 kg). A 15 ft, 12/3 SJT power cord with a NEMA 5-20P straight-blade plug is supplied, giving flexibility in reaching a facility receptacle. An on/off rocker switch and a resettable circuit breaker are built in to help protect against accidental electrical overload.
