Hammond 1588T12B1 77" 12-Outlet Vertical PDU, 15 ft Cord

The 1588T12B1 is a 77-inch vertical basic PDU (outlet strip) with 12 NEMA 5-15R receptacles, rated 15 amps at 125VAC, 60 Hz single-phase. It is built for IT and AV integrators, electricians, facilities teams and OEM engineers who need full-height power distribution down the side of a rack or cabinet, with the outlets spread evenly over the length of the strip so cords reach equipment at every level.

Construction is a low-profile, slim anodized aluminum extrusion with ABS plastic end caps, keeping the unit rugged but lightweight. Receptacles are 1 inch square and equally spaced over the length of the power strip. This version uses a power indicator light (no rocker switch) together with a resettable 15 amp circuit breaker; the switched equivalent in the series is 1588H12B1. Finish is natural, and this model is not surge protected.

Nominal strip length is 77.00 in (1956 mm), with drawing overall assembly dimensions of 77.472 in (1967.79 mm) long, 1.616 in (41.05 mm) wide and 1.149 in (29.18 mm) deep. Shipping weight is 6 lbs (2.72 kg). Power is supplied by an integral 15 ft heavy-duty 14/3 SJT cord rated for extreme temperature ranges, terminated in a moulded NEMA 5-15P straight-blade plug. All 12 outlets face the front; there are no rear outlets and no rotated outlets.

Each 1588T12B1 ships with a mounting bracket kit and hardware for vertical installation; additional hardware kits are available as P/N 1585CLIP. The strip can also be laid horizontally for bench use. The unit is cULus recognized against UL 1363 and CSA C22.2 (No. 21-95, 42-99) under UL file E166039, is RoHS and REACH compliant, USMCA compliant, TAA-compliant for federal GSA schedule purchases within the USA, and is manufactured in North America.
