Hammond 1588H12B1 77-Inch 12-Outlet Vertical Power Strip, 15A

The 1588H12B1 is a 77 in (1956 mm) vertical basic PDU with 12 NEMA 5-15R outlets, rated 125 VAC, 60 Hz, 15 amps. It is built for IT, AV and electrical installers who need single-phase 120 V distribution running the full height of a rack or cabinet, and it can also be used horizontally on a workbench.

The case is an anodized aluminum extrusion with ABS plastic ends, giving a low-profile slim design that is rugged yet lightweight. All 12 outlets face the front (none at the rear), are 1 in square and are equally spaced over the length of the strip. An on/off rocker switch and a resettable 15 A circuit breaker are fitted at the end of the housing, and the natural finish suits both open relay racks and enclosed cabinets.

Power is supplied by an integral heavy-duty 14 gauge, 14/3 SJT cord suitable for extreme temperature ranges, terminated in a moulded NEMA 5-15P straight blade plug, with 15 ft of cord for reaching a remote receptacle. Overall assembly length on the drawing is 77.472 in (1967.79 mm). Shipping weight is 6 lbs (2.72 kg).

A mounting bracket kit with hardware is included with the 1588H12B1 for vertical installation; additional hardware kits are available under P/N 1585CLIP. The strip is UL Listed to UL1363 with CSA certification to C22.2 (No. 21-95, 42-99), covered by UL file E166039, and is cULus marked. It is TAA-compliant for federal GSA schedule purchases within the USA, USMCA compliant, RoHS and REACH compliant, and manufactured in North America. This model is not surge protected, not metered and not hospital grade.
