Hammond 1587T19B1 70-Inch 19-Outlet Vertical Power Strip, 15A

The 1587T19B1 is a 70 in vertical basic PDU (power outlet strip) with 19 NEMA 5-15R receptacles, rated 125 VAC, 60 Hz, 15 amps. It is built for IT, AV and OEM users who need to distribute single-phase 120 V power down the full height of a rack, cabinet or open frame, and because of its low-profile slim design it can also be laid horizontally on a workbench.

Construction is a rugged, lightweight anodized aluminum extrusion in a natural finish, with ABS plastic end caps. All 19 outlets face the front of the strip (no rear outlets) and, per the series design, receptacles are 1 in square and equally spaced over the length of the strip. This version has no on-off switch: instead it carries a power indicator light plus a resettable circuit breaker for overload protection. A surge-protected module is not included in this part number.

Power comes from a factory-attached 15 ft cord with an integral moulded NEMA 5-15P straight blade plug; the series uses heavy duty 14 gauge 14/3 SJT cord suited to extreme temperature ranges. The unshielded cord keeps installation simple where the rack's power source is some distance from the mounting position.

Nominal strip length is 70.00 in (1778 mm), with an overall assembly length of 1789.89 mm [70.468 in] shown on the drawing. Shipping weight is 4.5 lbs (2.04 kg). A mounting bracket kit with hardware is included with 1587T19B1; additional hardware kits are available under P/N 1585CLIP.
