Hammond 1587H12A1 70-Inch 12-Outlet Vertical Power Strip, 15A

The 1587H12A1 is a 70" vertical basic PDU with 12 NEMA 5-15R outlets, rated 125VAC, 60 Hz, 15 amps. It is intended for IT, AV and industrial users who need to distribute single-phase 120V power along the full height of a rack frame or enclosure upright, and it can also be used horizontally on a workbench.

Construction is a low-profile slim anodized aluminum extrusion with ABS plastic ends, giving a rugged but lightweight strip in a Natural finish. All 12 outlets face the front (no rear outlets), are 1" square and are equally spaced over the length of the strip. This version is fitted with an on/off rocker switch and a resettable circuit breaker; the pilot-light equivalent of the same configuration is 1587T12A1.

The nominal strip length is 70.00 in (1778 mm), with the drawing showing 1783.08 mm [70.200 in] overall and 1789.89 mm [70.468 in] for the assembly viewed from the side. Power is supplied by an integral 6 ft heavy-duty 14 gauge 14/3 SJT cord with a moulded NEMA 5-15P straight-blade plug, suited to extreme temperature ranges. Shipping weight is 4 lbs (1.81 kg).
