Hammond 1586T10B1 60-Inch 10-Outlet Vertical PDU, 15 ft Cord

The 1586T10B1 is a 60 in. (1524 mm) vertical basic PDU from the 1585-6-7-8 Series, built for IT, AV and telecom racks where ten 15A outlets need to be distributed along the full height of a cabinet. It carries ten NEMA 5-15R receptacles on the front face, is rated 15 amps at 125VAC, 60 Hz, and ships with a 15 ft. cord terminated in an integral moulded NEMA 5-15P straight-blade plug for connection to a nearby wall or UPS receptacle.

Construction is a low-profile slim anodized aluminum extrusion with ABS plastic ends, giving a rugged but lightweight strip in a Natural finish. Receptacles are 1 in. square and equally spaced over the length of the strip, and the heavy duty 14 gauge 14/3 SJT cord is rated for extreme temperature ranges. This version uses a power indicator light rather than a rocker switch, together with a resettable 15 Amp circuit breaker; the switched equivalent in the series is 1586H10B1.

Drawing dimensions show an overall assembly length of 1535.89 mm [60.468 in] with a 1529.08 mm [60.200 in] extrusion, and a compact end profile of 41.05 mm [1.616 in] by 29.18 mm [1.149 in]. Shipping weight is 5 lbs (2.27 kg). A mounting bracket kit with hardware is included for vertical installation inside a rack or cabinet; additional hardware kits are available as P/N 1585CLIP. The strip can also be used horizontally on a workbench.
