Hammond 1586T10A1 60-Inch 10-Outlet Vertical PDU With Pilot Light

The 1586T10A1 is a 60-inch vertical basic PDU (outlet strip) with 10 NEMA 5-15R receptacles, rated 125 VAC, 60 Hz, 15 amps. It is intended for IT, AV and electrical installers who need to distribute single-phase 120 V power up the full height of a rack, cabinet or relay rack frame, and it can also be laid flat and used horizontally on a workbench.

Construction is a low-profile slim anodized aluminum extrusion with ABS plastic ends, giving a rugged but lightweight assembly in a Natural finish. The 10 outlets are 1 in. square and equally spaced over the length of the strip on 5.000 in. (127.00 mm) centers, all facing the front (10 front outlets, 0 rear). This version uses a power indicator light rather than a rocker switch, together with a resettable circuit breaker.

Power input is a 6 ft heavy duty 14/3 SJT cord rated for extreme temperature ranges, with an integral moulded NEMA 5-15P straight blade plug. The cord is unshielded, and this part number is not surge protected, not metered and not hospital grade.

A mounting bracket kit with hardware is included with the 1586T10A1 for vertical installation; additional hardware kits are available as P/N 1585CLIP. The strip is UL Listed to UL1363 and CSA Certified to C22.2 (No. 21-95, 42-99) under UL file E166039, is cULus and TAA-compliant for federal GSA schedule purchases within the USA, and is RoHS, REACH and USMCA compliant.
