Hammond 1586H12C1 60-Inch 12-Outlet Vertical Power Strip, L5-15P Plug

The 1586H12C1 is a 60" vertical basic power distribution unit with 12 NEMA 5-15R outlets, rated 125 VAC, 60 Hz, 15 amps. It is intended for IT, AV and electrical teams who need simple, unmetered power distribution down the vertical channel of a rack or cabinet, and it can also be laid horizontally on a workbench.

Construction is a low-profile slim anodized aluminum extrusion with ABS plastic end caps, keeping the strip rugged but lightweight at a 4.5 lb (2.04 kg) shipping weight. The receptacles are 1" square and equally spaced over the length of the strip, with all 12 outlets on the front face and none on the rear. This version is supplied in the Natural finish.

Power comes in through a heavy duty 14 gauge, 14/3 SJT cord with an integral moulded plug for extreme temperature ranges. On the 1586H12C1 the cord is 6 ft long and terminates in a NEMA L5-15P locking plug, and the strip includes an on/off rocker switch plus a resettable 15 amp circuit breaker. This model is not surge protected, has no shielded cord, is not metered and is not hospital grade.

The unit is UL Listed to UL1363 and CSA Certified to C22.2 (No. 21-95, 42-99) under UL file E166039, is cULus marked, and is TAA-compliant for federal GSA schedule purchases within the USA. It is RoHS, REACH and USMCA compliant, and is manufactured in North America (country of origin CA).
