Hammond 1586H12B1BK 60-Inch 12-Outlet Vertical PDU, Black, 15A

The 1586H12B1BK is a 60" vertical basic PDU (outlet strip) with 12 NEMA 5-15R receptacles, rated 125VAC, 60 Hz, 15 amps. It is intended for IT, AV and electrical installers who need to distribute single-phase 120V power vertically inside a rack or cabinet, and the same strip can be used horizontally on a workbench.

Construction is a low-profile, slim black painted aluminum extrusion with ABS plastic end caps, keeping the strip rugged but lightweight. All 12 outlets face the front (none on the rear), are 1" square and are equally spaced over the length of the strip. Power is controlled by an on/off rocker switch, and a resettable circuit breaker provides overcurrent protection. A pilot-light version of this configuration is catalogued as 1586T12B1BK.

The strip length is 60.00 in (1524 mm) nominal; the drawing shows a 1529.08 mm [60.200 in] case with an overall assembly length of 1535.89 mm [60.468 in]. Shipping weight is 4.5 lbs (2.04 kg). A 15 ft heavy-duty 14/3 SJT cord with an integral moulded NEMA 5-15P straight-blade plug is included, suited to extreme temperature ranges.

1586H12B1BK ships with a mounting bracket kit and hardware for vertical installation; additional hardware kits are available as P/N 1585CLIP. The unit is UL Listed to UL1363 and CSA Certified to C22.2 (No. 21-95, 42-99) under UL file E166039, carries cULus and TAA-compliant standards markings, and is RoHS, REACH and USMCA compliant.
