Hammond 15851T6B1 18" 6-Outlet Vertical PDU, 15 ft Cord

The 15851T6B1 is an 18-inch vertical basic PDU with six NEMA 5-15R outlets, rated 15 amps at 125VAC, 60 Hz. It is built for IT, AV and industrial users who need simple, reliable power distribution inside a rack or cabinet, and it can also be laid horizontally on a workbench. This version uses a power indicator (pilot light) rather than an on-off rocker switch, and includes a resettable circuit breaker for overcurrent protection.

Construction is a low-profile, slim anodized aluminum extrusion with ABS plastic end caps, giving a rugged but lightweight strip in a natural finish. The six 5-15R receptacles are 1 inch square and equally spaced along the length of the strip, all facing the front (six front, zero rear outlets). Power is supplied by a heavy-duty 14/3 SJT, 14-gauge cord rated for extreme temperature ranges, with an integral moulded NEMA 5-15P straight-blade plug and a generous 15 ft length for reaching distant receptacles.

The nominal strip length is 18.00 in (457 mm), with an overall assembly length of 456.49 mm [17.972 in] shown on the drawing. Shipping weight is 3 lbs (1.36 kg). A mounting bracket kit with hardware is included with the strip; additional hardware kits are available under P/N 1585CLIP.

15851T6B1 is UL Listed to UL1363 and CSA Certified to C22.2 (No. 21-95, 42-99) under UL file E166039, and carries cULus, TAA-compliant, RoHS, REACH and USMCA compliance for federal GSA schedule and regulated procurement. It is manufactured in North America (country of origin: CA). This model is not surge protected, not metered, not hospital grade, and does not use rotated outlets or a shielded cord.
