Hammond 1583H8E1BK 1U 10A Rackmount PDU, 8 Rear C13 Outlets

The 1583H8E1BK is a compact 1U horizontal rackmount power distribution unit that delivers 10A single-phase power to networking, server, AV, telecom and other electronic equipment using standard IEC C13 connections. All eight C13 outlets face the rear of the PDU, making it suited to racks where power cords are dressed and managed behind the equipment, and where the front of the rack is kept clear.

Power enters through a rear-mounted IEC 320 C14 inlet, so the appropriate input power cord can be selected for the installation and the regional power connection - useful for equipment deployed across different countries and power environments. No cord is supplied with the unit. An illuminated on/off rocker switch gives a clear visual indication of PDU power status, and a resettable circuit breaker protects against accidental line overload.

Overall dimensions are 1.72 in. (44 mm) high x 19.00 in. (483 mm) wide x 2.66 in. (68 mm) deep, so the 1583H8E1BK mounts directly in standard 19-inch racks and cabinets in a single rack unit of height. Shipping weight is 3 lbs (1.36 kg). The chassis carries a textured RAL9005 black powder coat finish that meets applicable GREENGUARD indoor air quality and RoHS requirements.

The unit is rated 100-240VAC by TUV and 120-240VAC by UL, 10A, 50/60Hz. It is cULus Listed to UL 62368-1 (2nd Edition), 2014-12-01 and CAN/CSA C22.2 No. 62368-1-14 (2nd Edition), TUV-SUD certified to EN 62368-1:2020/A11:2020 and IEC 62368-1:2018, and TUV-SUD tested for EMC compliance to EN 55032:2015+A11:2020 and EN 55035:2017+A11:2020. It meets applicable CE Low Voltage and EMC Directive requirements as well as UKCA electrical safety and electromagnetic compatibility requirements, is TAA compliant for applicable U.S. federal procurement, and is manufactured in North America.
