Hammond 1582T8E1BK 1U 8-Outlet C13 Rack PDU, 10A Pilot Light

The 1582T8E1BK is a 1U horizontal rackmount power distribution unit that delivers 10A single-phase power to IEC-connected equipment in standard 19-inch racks and cabinets. It carries eight IEC C13 outlets on the front of the unit and a rear-mounted IEC C14 inlet, making it a practical choice for IT, networking, AV, telecom, test and OEM installations where equipment cords terminate at the front of the rack.

This version of the 1582E Series has no power switch; a power indicator light provides visual confirmation that the PDU is energised. A resettable circuit breaker is built in to protect against accidental line overload. The unit is finished in textured RAL9005 black powder coat, which meets applicable GREENGUARD indoor air quality and RoHS requirements.

Overall dimensions are 1.72 in. (43.64 mm) high x 19.00 in. (482.60 mm) wide x 2.66 in. (67.58 mm) deep, and shipping weight is 2.8 lbs (1.27 kg). Because the inlet is a C14 connector, the appropriate IEC input power cord can be selected to suit the installation and regional power connection — useful for equipment deployed across different regions.
