Hammond 1583H6D1BK 1U 6-Outlet Rear-Facing PDU With Locking Cord

The 1583H6D1BK is a 1U horizontal 19-inch rack mount basic PDU (outlet strip) with six rear-facing NEMA 5-15R outlets, rated 15 A at 125 VAC, 60 Hz. It is designed for power distribution from the rear of the unit, making it suited to IT, AV and control racks where patch, switch and amplifier power cords are dressed at the back of the cabinet. All six receptacles are on the rear face; there are no front outlets.

Power is controlled by an illuminated on/off rocker switch, and a resettable 15 A, 125 VAC circuit breaker is built in to guard against accidental overload. The attached 15 ft cord is heavy-duty 14 gauge 14/3 SJT type with an integral moulded plug, rated for extreme temperature ranges.
