Hammond 1582T6D1BKRA 1U 15A Rack PDU, 6 Rotated 5-15R Outlets

The 1582T6D1BKRA is a 1U horizontal rack mount basic PDU for 19" racks and cabinets, giving IT, AV, broadcast and industrial control users six front-facing NEMA 5-15R outlets in a single rack space. It is part of the 1582 Series of 15A single-phase 125V front-facing outlet strips, and is designed for power distribution from the front of the unit where cords and adapters need to stay visible and accessible.

This version uses rotated outlets, spaced to give clearance for most plug-in transformers and wall-wart style power supplies, so a bulky adapter does not block the neighbouring receptacle. Instead of a rocker switch, the unit carries an illuminated red power indicator light (the "T" suffix in the series nomenclature), plus a resettable 15 Amp, 125 VAC circuit breaker to guard against accidental overload. There is no surge module and no local ammeter on this model.

Construction is painted steel, front and back, in a textured black finish; the series is finished in RAL9005 black or ASA61 gray powder coat that complies with Greenguard guidelines for indoor air quality. Overall dimensions are 1.72 in (44 mm) high by 19.00 in (483 mm) wide by 2.66 in (68 mm) deep, with a 17.500 in mounting-flange span and 18.188 in body width per the drawing.
