Hammond 1582T6D1 1U 6-Outlet Rack PDU, 15A Locking Plug

The 1582T6D1 is a 1U horizontal 19-inch rack mount basic power distribution unit that feeds six NEMA 5-15R outlets from the front of the panel. It is aimed at IT and AV integrators, electricians, OEM builders and facilities teams who need straightforward 15 A, single-phase power distribution inside a rack, cabinet or open-frame relay rack without metering or network management.

Power reaches the unit through an integral 15 ft cord terminated in a NEMA L5-15P locking plug, so the connection stays seated in vibration-prone or high-traffic installations. The cord is heavy-duty 14 gauge, 14/3 SJT type for extreme temperature ranges with an integral moulded plug, and a 15 Amp, 125 VAC resettable circuit breaker is built in to guard against accidental overload. A red power indicator light shows live status; this version has no on/off rocker switch, so downstream equipment is not switched at the panel.

Overall dimensions are 1.72 in (44 mm) high by 19.00 in (483 mm) wide by 2.66 in (68 mm) deep, with 17.50 in between the mounting slots on the drawing and a shipping weight of 3.5 lbs (1.59 kg). Front and back are ASA 61 grey painted steel, a powder coat finish that complies with the Greenguard guidelines for indoor air quality.

All six outlets face forward with no rear receptacles and no rotated spacing, giving standard 5-15R spacing across the 1U panel. The unit is rated 125 VAC, 60 Hz, 15 Amps on the drawing and listed at 120 VAC / 15 A on the part data. 1582T6D1 is UL Recognized to UL1363 and CSA Certified to C22.2 (No. 21-95, 42-99) under UL file E166039, is RoHS, REACH and USMCA compliant, TAA-compliant for federal GSA schedule purchases within the USA, and is manufactured in North America.
