The 1582H8E1BKDP is a 1U horizontal basic power distribution unit for 19" racks and cabinets, giving IT, AV and OEM installers eight IEC 320 C13 outlets across the front of the unit. It is part of the 1582E DP Series of rack mount basic PDUs, rated 100-240VAC (TUV), 120-240VAC (UL), 10A, 50/60Hz single-phase, and is designed for power distribution using IEC power cords.
Power enters through an IEC 320 C14 inlet located at the rear, so the supply cord routes away from the working face while all eight C13 outlets remain accessible at the front for patching switches, media converters, amplifiers and other rack equipment. A double pole, single throw rocker switch with a green indicator light controls the whole strip, and a resettable 10A circuit breaker guards against accidental line overload. This model does not include a power cord, and has no surge protection, metering or rotated outlets.
Construction is all-steel housing with a black powder coat finish that complies with the Greenguard guidelines for indoor air quality. Overall dimensions are 1.72 in (44 mm) high by 19.00 in (483 mm) wide by 2.66 in (68 mm) deep, with the drawing showing 482.60 mm [19.000 in] width and 43.64 mm [1.718 in] height. Shipping weight is 3 lbs (1.36 kg).
