Hammond 1582H6A1BKRA 1U 15A Rack PDU, 6 Rotated 5-15R Outlets

The 1582H6A1BKRA is a 1U horizontal rack mount basic PDU from the Hammond 1582 Series, built for 19" racks and cabinets where power has to be distributed from the front of the unit. It carries six front-facing NEMA 5-15R outlets (no rear outlets) rated 15 A at 125 VAC, 60 Hz, making it suited to IT, AV and industrial installations that need straightforward, breaker-protected single-phase distribution in a single rack unit.

This version uses rotated (90 degree) receptacles with extra spacing, which gives clearance for most plug-in transformers and wall-wart style power supplies that would otherwise block adjacent outlets. A lighted on/off rocker switch and a resettable 15 A, 125 VAC circuit breaker are built into the front panel; the breaker helps prevent accidental overload. Power is supplied by a 6 ft heavy-duty 14/3 SJT cord with an integral moulded NEMA 5-15P straight-blade plug, rated for extreme temperature ranges.

Front and back are black painted steel, finished in RAL9005 black powder coat that complies with the Greenguard guidelines for indoor air quality. Overall dimensions are 1.72" (44 mm) high by 19.00" (483 mm) wide by 2.66" (68 mm) deep, with a 17.500" mounting bracket spacing and 2.000" typical outlet spacing shown on the drawing. Shipping weight is 4 lbs (1.81 kg).
