Hammond 1582H6A1BKAM 1U Metered 15A PDU With Six 5-15R Outlets

The 1582H6A1BKAM is a 1U horizontal 19-inch rack mount basic power distribution unit with local amp metering, intended for IT, AV, broadcast and industrial cabinets where equipment is plugged in from the front of the rack. It provides six front-facing NEMA 5-15R outlets, no rear outlets, and is rated 15 Amps at 125 VAC, 60 Hz (rated voltage listed as 120 VAC on the part data).

Power comes in through an integral moulded NEMA 5-15P straight-blade plug on a 6 ft heavy-duty 14 gauge, 14/3 SJT cord suited to extreme temperature ranges. A lighted on/off rocker power switch and a resettable 15 Amp, 125 VAC circuit breaker are built in to guard against accidental overload. This version adds an easy-to-read red LED ammeter with 0.37 in high digits in a 1.38 in x 0.88 in display, accurate to +/- 0.1 Amps, so loads can be read at a glance from the aisle. Outlets are not rotated, the cord is unshielded, and this model is not surge protected or hospital grade.

Construction is painted steel front and back in a black powder coat finish that complies with Greenguard guidelines for indoor air quality. Overall dimensions are 1.718 in (43.64 mm) high by 19.000 in (482.60 mm) wide by 2.661 in (67.58 mm) deep, with a 2.861 in overall side depth shown on the drawing and a 17.500 in mounting hole span for standard 19-inch rack rails.
