Hammond 1582H6A1 1U 15A Rack PDU, 6 Front 5-15R Outlets

The 1582H6A1 is a 1U horizontal rack mount basic PDU for 19-inch racks and cabinets, designed to distribute single-phase 125 V power from the front of the unit. Six NEMA 5-15R outlets face forward (none on the rear), making it a practical choice for IT, AV and OEM installations where patch panels, switches, amplifiers or test gear are cabled from the front of the rack.

Power comes in through an integral 6 ft moulded NEMA 5-15P straight-blade cord using heavy-duty 14 gauge 14/3 SJT wire rated for extreme temperature ranges. The unit is rated 125 VAC, 60 Hz, 15 Amps and includes a 15 Amp, 125 VAC resettable circuit breaker to prevent accidental overload, plus an illuminated on/off rocker switch for local control of the whole strip.

Overall dimensions are 1.72 in (43.64 mm) high by 19.00 in (482.60 mm) wide by 2.66 in (67.58 mm) deep, occupying a single rack unit, and shipping weight is 3.5 lbs (1.59 kg). Front and back are ASA 61 grey painted steel powder coat finish that complies with Greenguard guidelines for indoor air quality.

The 1582H6A1 is CSA Certified to C22.2 No. 21-95 and No. 42-99 and UL Recognized to Standard UL1363 (UL File # E166039), and is cRUus, TAA-compliant for federal GSA schedule purchases within the USA, RoHS and REACH compliant, and USMCA compliant. Manufactured in North America. This version has no surge protection, no ammeter, no rotated outlets and is not hospital grade; other configurations in the 1582 series cover those options.
