The 1557FAGY is the RAL7035 grey version of the 70 mm tall ABS enclosure in the 1557 Series. Its 6.3 in x 6.3 in x 2.76 in (160 mm x 160 mm x 70 mm) body provides a sealed indoor housing for circuit boards and small control assemblies, with a light gray finish suited to equipment rooms and panels.
The general purpose ABS material has a UL94-HB flammability rating and is designated for indoor use. This version is not UL listed, but ABS 1557 enclosures have been tested to and meet IP66, carry an IK07 impact rating per IEC 62262:2021 and are recommended for -20°C to +60°C (-4°F to +140°F).

- Maximum P.C. board: 147.5 mm x 147.5 mm, on bosses accepting #6 self-tapping screws
- Lid: two piece tongue and groove with one piece high temperature silicone gasket
- Cover screws: stainless steel M4-0.7 x 20 mm into corrosion resistant inserts, 71-85 ozf-in (50-60 cN-m)
The 1557FAGY includes its lid, 4 cover screws, silicone gasket, 4 rubber feet, 4 wall mount feet and 4 wall mount foot screws, so it can sit on a bench or go on a wall in flush or heavy duty flange orientation. For a pole, PMB6687KIT3 and PMB6687KIT4 cover the 1557FA profile. Shipping weight is 0.78 lbs (0.35 kg).
