Hammond 1557DGY 120mm Square, 45mm Tall Gray ABS Watertight Box

The 1557DGY is the light gray (RAL7035) ABS version of the 120 mm square, 45 mm tall 1557D enclosure. Measuring 4.72 in x 4.72 in x 1.77 in (120 mm x 120 mm x 45 mm), it gives indoor electronics projects a sealed, low-profile housing ready for a printed circuit board.

A two piece tongue and groove lid with a one piece high temperature UL listed silicone gasket keeps out oil, dust and water; ABS versions have been tested to and meet IP66. The lid is fastened with four included M4 stainless steel screws (M4-0.7 x 20 mm) threaded into corrosion resistant bushings, torqued to 71-85 ozf-in (50-60 cN-m).

Mount the 1557DGY on a desk, flush to a wall with the feet acting as keyhole slots, or on a heavy duty wall flange with the feet outward; #8 pan head screws for the wall are not included.
