The 1557BGASKET is the replacement lid gasket for the 80 mm square 1557B and 1557BA enclosures. It is a black, pre-formed, one piece silicone gasket sold as a 2-pack, for maintenance teams and OEMs who need to restore the seal after service or keep spares on hand.
In the 1557 Series the gasket sits in a two piece tongue and groove lid joint and is made from high temperature UL listed silicone; it is part of what lets these enclosures protect against oil, dust and water. The drawing shows an outline of 77.30 mm [3.04 in] by 77.30 mm [3.04 in] with a 1.80 mm [.07 in] section.
The 1557BGASKET fits every enclosure in the 1557B and 1557BA profiles: 1557BBK, 1557BGY, 1557B2BK and 1557B2GY (80 x 80 x 45 mm) and 1557BABK, 1557BAGY, 1557BA2BK and 1557BA2GY (80 x 80 x 60 mm), in both ABS and polycarbonate.
