Hammond 1556FOOTGY-4 Light Gray Wall Mount Foot Kit, 4-Pack

The 1556FOOTGY-4 is a pack of 4 light gray wall mount feet for 1556 Series enclosures. Molded from flame retardant ABS, the feet turn a desktop 1556 enclosure into a wall-mounted unit, and the light gray finish matches light gray enclosures such as 1556EGY, 1556FGY, 1556FAGY and 1556GGY. Integrators, electricians and facilities teams use them to hang IoT and small electronics housings on walls or other surfaces.

The feet support two wall-mounting configurations. For a heavy duty flange mount, install the feet to the enclosure with the supplied screws and fasten the enclosure to the object using #8 pan head screws (not included). For a flush mount, install two #8 pan head screws (not included) at the correct spacing for the enclosure, set the screw height with a foot, fit the feet to the enclosure, then push the enclosure onto the screws until the detent clicks over the pan head.

Recommended torque for the supplied foot screws is 80-90 cN-m (7-8 lbf-in) on ABS enclosures and 100-110 cN-m (8.8-9.7 lbf-in) on polycarbonate. The enclosure drawings list the kit as containing the 4 wall mount feet with #8 x 3/8" self-tapping screws, and replacement stainless steel foot screws are available as SC556-50.
