Hammond 1555E2F42GY 90x90x63mm Polycarbonate Flanged NEMA 4X Enclosure

The 1555E2F42GY is the deeper version of the square 90 x 90 mm polycarbonate enclosure in the 1555F Series. With a 63 mm body height it leaves room for taller components or DIN rail devices, while the flanged base keeps wall mounting simple for integrators working on outdoor wireless, security or control installations.

Molded from UV stabilized polycarbonate rated UL94-5VA, it is cUL and UL 508A listed under file E65324. Independent testing covers IP66, IP67 and IP68 plus NEMA Type 4, 4X, 6, 6P, 12 and 13, and the impact rating is IK08 per IEC 62262:2021. Hammond recommends an operating range of -40°C to +110°C (-40°F to +230°F) and suggests customers test suitability for their application.

The series ordering table gives 3.54 x 3.54 x 2.48 in (90 x 90 x 63 mm) without flanges; the drawing shows an assembly height of 62.50 mm, an inner base depth of 42.38 mm, an inner lid depth of 12.50 mm and 130.00 mm overall across the flanges. The part page size field lists 90 x 90 x 38 mm. DIN rail tabs are molded into the lid, and standoffs take #4 x 1/4 in self-tapping screws (1555TS100) for a PC board up to 78 x 78 mm or the 1555EFPL steel inner panel.

A silicone gasket in the tongue and groove joint seals the RAL7035 grey lid, which is held by included M4 stainless screws in corrosion resistant inserts (2.5 lbf-in / 30 cN-m recommended). The 1555E2F42GY is RoHS and REACH compliant and weighs 0.4 lbs (0.18 kg) shrink wrapped.
