Hammond 1555CFPL 108x52mm Galvanized Steel Enclosure Inner Panel

The 1555CFPL is the inner mounting panel for the C size enclosures in the 1555F Series: 1555CF22GY, 1555C2F22GY, 1555CF42GY and 1555C2F42GY. It gives OEM engineers and panel builders a flat plate for mounting components inside the enclosure instead of fixing parts directly to the plastic.

Hammond describes the part as a galvanized steel inner panel for 1555CF enclosures; note that the material field on the part page reads Silicone. The drawing shows a panel thickness of 1.63 mm, R9.00 mm corners and 3.56 mm mounting holes.

The panel measures 4.25 x 2.05 x 0.06 in (108 x 52 x 2 mm). It fastens to the standoffs molded into the enclosure, which are designed for #4 x 1/4 in self-tapping screws (1555TS100). Because the C size enclosures have no internal DIN rail tabs, the inner panel is the main way to mount hardware other than a PC board inside them.

The 1555CFPL is RoHS and REACH compliant and ships shrink wrapped at 0.17 lbs (0.08 kg). The enclosures it fits measure 4.72 x 2.56 in (120 x 65 mm) without flanges, in 43 mm and 63 mm heights.
