Hammond 1555CF22GY 120 x 65 x 43 mm Flanged ABS Watertight Enclosure

The 1555CF22GY is a slim general purpose ABS enclosure from the 1555F flanged series, nominally 120 x 65 x 43 mm (4.72 x 2.56 x 1.69 in) not including flanges and listed on its part page at 119 x 66 x 42 mm (4.7 x 2.6 x 1.65 in). With the base flanges, the drawing shows 150.79 mm overall length and four 5.00 mm wall mounting holes. It is a good indoor fit for long, narrow circuit boards up to 52 x 108 mm.

ABS versions are molded from general purpose material with a UL94 HB flame rating and are intended for indoor use. They are not UL listed but have been tested to and meet IP66, with an IK07 impact rating per IEC 62262:2021 and a recommended operating temperature of -20°C to +60°C (-4°F to +140°F).

Four included M4 stainless steel machine screws sit behind the lid, threading into corrosion resistant inserts for repeated assembly and disassembly; recommended cover screw torque is 2.5 lbf-in (30 cN-m). The two-piece tongue and groove lid uses a one piece high temperature UL listed silicone gasket, supplied loose. The satin RAL7035 grey lid has a 2.00 mm recess for a membrane keypad or label.

Boards mount on standoffs designed for #4 x 1/4 in self-tapping screws (1555TS100), or on the optional 1555CFPL steel inner panel. The C size does not include DIN rail tabs in the lid. The 1555CF22GY is RoHS and REACH compliant, shrink wrapped, and weighs 0.31 lbs (0.14 kg). The UL listed polycarbonate equivalent is 1555C2F22GY.
