Hammond 1555C2F22GY 120 x 65 x 43 mm Flanged Polycarbonate NEMA Enclosure

The 1555C2F22GY is a slim, rectangular polycarbonate enclosure from the 1555F flanged series, nominally 120 x 65 x 43 mm (4.72 x 2.56 x 1.69 in) not including flanges; the part page lists 119 x 66 x 42 mm. Base flanges bring the overall length to 150.79 mm on the drawing, with four 5.00 mm holes for wall mounting. It suits outdoor wireless, security and control electronics built on long, narrow boards.

As a polycarbonate version it is UV stabilized for outdoor use, rated UL94 5VA and cUL and UL 508A listed under file E65324. It has been independently tested to IP66, IP67 and IP68 and NEMA Type 4, 4X, 6, 6P, 12 and 13, with an IK08 impact rating per IEC 62262:2021 and a recommended range of -40°C to +110°C (-40°F to +230°F).

Four included M4 stainless steel machine screws, located behind the lid, thread into corrosion resistant inserts and should be torqued to 2.5 lbf-in (30 cN-m). A two-piece tongue and groove seal and one piece high temperature silicone gasket, supplied loose, keep out oil, dust and water, and the satin RAL7035 lid has a 2.00 mm recess for a membrane keypad or label.

Maximum P.C. board size is 52 x 108 mm, mounted on standoffs designed for #4 x 1/4 in self-tapping screws (1555TS100) or on the optional 1555CFPL steel inner panel. Note that the C size does not have DIN rail tabs molded into the lid. The 1555C2F22GY is RoHS and REACH compliant, shrink wrapped and weighs 0.31 lbs (0.14 kg).
