The 1554XAGY is the general purpose ABS version of the deep 300 x 200 x 120 mm size in the 1554 Series. Box and lid are both light gray (RAL 7035) ABS, giving indoor electronics and control projects a gasketed, screw-cover housing for printed circuit boards or DIN rail mounted components.
It measures 11.81 x 7.87 x 4.72 in (300 x 200 x 120 mm) nominal; the drawing shows 299.33 x 199.55 x 119.73 mm overall and an interior of 289.09 x 189.31 x 111.75 mm. PC boards up to 285 x 174 mm fit, and four M3 brass inserts, ten #8 self-tapping screw positions, molded DIN rail tabs and 1.5 mm card guides give mounting choices. The 1554XPL steel inner panel is ordered separately.
A two piece tongue and groove lid with a replaceable one-piece silicone gasket (supplied loose) resists oil, dust and water. Six included M4 stainless steel screws, self-captivating and threaded into corrosion resistant inserts, secure it; recommended torque is 8-9 lbf-in (90-100 cN-m).
ABS versions use UL94-HB general purpose material for indoor use. The 1554XAGY is not UL listed but has been tested to and meets IP66, carries an IK07 impact rating per IEC 62262:2021 and is recommended for -20°C to +60°C (-4°F to +140°F). Four 4.39 mm wall mounting holes sit outside the gasket channel, and foot kit 1554FT-XY fits this size. Shipping weight is 2.48 lb (1.12 kg).
