The 1554UL2GYSL pairs a light gray RAL 7035 polycarbonate box with a smoked polycarbonate lid in the shallow 200 x 120 x 45 mm size. The tinted cover lets LEDs and displays show through while giving a darker, more discreet look than the clear-lid 1554UL2GYCL, making it a fit for visible installations of low-profile electronics.
This model is listed at IP68 with a UL94 V-0 flame rating. Like the other polycarbonate versions, it is UV stabilized for outdoor use, cUL and UL 508A listed under file E65324, rated IK08 per IEC 62262:2021 and recommended for -40°C to +110°C. The drawing is marked Type 4, 4X, 6, 6P for the polycarbonate version.
Per the drawing, the interior is 192.98 mm long, 112.98 mm wide and 39.15 mm high, with 45.95 mm overall height. The part page gives a maximum P.C. board size of 190.5 x 106.6 mm. DIN rail mounting tabs, vertical card guides for 1.5 mm boards and M3 brass inserts that also accept #6 self-tapping screws are molded into the box.
The flat lid closes on a tongue and groove joint with a replaceable one-piece silicone gasket (supplied loose) and four included M4 stainless steel self-captivating screws. The 1554UL2GYSL wall mounts through four Ø4.30 mm holes outside the gasket channel; the 1554FT foot kit, 1554UPL inner panel, 1554UGASKET gasket and SC576-50 screw pack are the matching accessories. Shipping weight is 0.69 lbs (0.31 kg).
