The 1554UL2GYCL is a low 45 mm polycarbonate enclosure with a light gray RAL 7035 box and a clear polycarbonate lid. Because the lid is transparent and the body is shallow, it works well for a single board with indicators, a display or a meter that needs to be read through the cover, whether the unit is mounted indoors or outdoors.
The part page lists a UL94 V-0 flame rating and IP68 for this clear-lid model. Polycarbonate versions of the series are UV stabilized for outdoor use, cUL and UL 508A listed under file E65324, IK08 impact rated per IEC 62262:2021, and recommended for -40°C to +110°C (-40°F to +230°F).

The tongue and groove lid seals with a replaceable one-piece silicone gasket supplied loose in the box, and four included M4 stainless steel screws thread into corrosion resistant inserts and are self-captivating. DIN rail tabs, card guides for 1.5 mm boards and M3 brass inserts are molded in. Optional parts for the 1554UL2GYCL include the 1554UPL inner panel and 1554FT foot kit. Shipping weight is 0.69 lbs (0.31 kg).
