Hammond 1554MPB2D 2-Hole Deep 22.5mm Polycarbonate Pushbutton Box

The 1554MPB2D is a two-hole 22.5 mm pushbutton enclosure built on the deeper 1554K body. At 90 mm deep with lid, it gives more room behind the lid than the standard 60 mm 1554MPB2 while keeping the same 160 x 90 mm face. It suits control builders who need two operators plus extra wiring space in a sealed station. The 30.5 mm version is the 1554PB2D.

The ordering table lists 6.30 in H x 3.54 in W x 3.56 in D with lid (160 x 90 x 90 mm); the part page gives a nominal 6.3 x 3.54 x 3.54 in. It has four Ø4.00 mm mounting holes outside the gasket seal and a shipping weight of 0.53 lbs (0.24 kg).

Material is UL94 5VA polycarbonate in light gray RAL 7035, suitable for outdoor use. Self-captivating M4 stainless steel screws thread into integral stainless steel bushings, and the preformed high temperature U.L. listed silicone gasket is replaceable. Inside, the base has DIN rail mounting tabs, and the series molds in M3 brass inserts and standoffs (for M3.5 or #6 self tapping screws) and vertical card guides for 1.5 mm PC boards in all but the smallest size.

The package includes box, lid, 4 cover screws and gasket; torque the cover screws to 43-57 ozf-in (30-40 cN-m). Ratings are IP66 and NEMA 4, 4X, 6, 6P, 12 and 13, and the drawing shows cUL US Listing (file E65324) with UL 508A approval. The 1554MPB2D is RoHS and REACH compliant, and accepts the optional 1554JPL inner panel and 1554FT feet.
