Hammond 1554LGY 105x105x60 mm Square Gray ABS Enclosure

The 1554LGY is a square general purpose ABS enclosure measuring 4.13 x 4.13 x 2.36 in (105 x 105 x 60 mm). It is a compact indoor housing for engineers mounting small printed circuit boards, terminal blocks or DIN rail devices.

Molded in light gray RAL 7035 ABS with a UL94 HB flammability rating, the 1554LGY uses a two piece tongue and groove lid sealed by a replaceable one piece high temperature silicone gasket supplied loose inside. Four included self-captivating M4 stainless steel machine screws thread into corrosion resistant bushings; recommended torque is 43-57 ozf-in (30-40 cN-m).

The drawing shows an inside length of 97.36 mm [3.83 in], inside width of 93.35 mm [3.68 in] and inside height of 53.70 mm [2.11 in]. Molded DIN rail tabs, vertical card guides for 1.5 mm boards and M3 brass inserts that accept #6 self-tapping screws are included, and the optional 1554LPL steel inner panel is ordered separately. Maximum P.C. board size is listed as 92.57 x 93 mm.

The ABS version is not UL listed but has been tested to and meets IP66 and carries an IK07 impact rating per IEC 62262:2021, with a recommended range of -20°C to +60°C (-4°F to +140°F) for indoor use. Mounting holes outside the gasket channel accept wall screws or the 1554FT foot kit. The 1554LGY ships shrink wrapped at 0.44 lbs (0.20 kg) and is RoHS and REACH compliant.
