Hammond 1554G2GY 120x90x80mm Tall Gray Polycarbonate NEMA 4X Enclosure

The 1554G2GY is the tallest version of the 120 x 90 mm footprint, with a nominal height of 80 mm (the ordering table lists 81 mm total height). Molded in light gray (RAL 7035) polycarbonate with a gray lid, it gives extra headroom for taller components, terminal blocks or stacked boards in a sealed, UL listed box.

According to the drawing, the enclosure measures 120.00 x 90.00 mm with an 80.50 mm overall height, and offers 112.39 mm of inside length, 78.39 mm of inside width and 74.50 mm of inside height. The part page lists a maximum PC board of 77.47 x 108.41 mm. Internal features include M3 brass inserts, standoffs for #6 self-tapping screws, card guides for 1.5 mm thick boards and molded DIN rail tabs; the 1554FPL steel inner panel is ordered separately.

The gray polycarbonate is UL94-5VA rated and UV stabilized for outdoor use. The 1554G2GY is rated IP68 and NEMA 4, 4X, 6, 6P, 12 and 13, is cUL and UL 508A listed under file E65324, carries an IK08 impact rating and is recommended for -40°C to +110°C.

Four included M4 stainless steel lid screws are self-captivating and thread into corrosion resistant inserts. Sealing relies on a two piece tongue and groove lid and a one-piece silicone gasket supplied loose. Four Ø4.00 mm wall-mounting holes are outside the gasket channel and accept the 1554FT foot kit. REACH and RoHS compliant; shipped shrink wrapped at 0.52 lbs (0.24 kg).
