The 1554FL2GYCL is the clear-lid version of the low-profile 1554FL size: a light gray (RAL 7035) polycarbonate base with a transparent polycarbonate flat lid, nominally 120 x 90 x 45 mm. It is a good fit for slim boards whose LEDs, displays or labels need to be read without removing the cover.
The part is listed with a UL94 V-0 flame rating, which the series specifies for clear lids. It is rated IP68 and is cUL and UL 508A listed under file E65324. The series sheet gives NEMA 4, 4X, 6, 6P, 12 and 13 for polycarbonate versions, while the manufacturer part page for this item prints "12 & 40" as its last value. Polycarbonate versions are UV stabilized for outdoor use, have an IK08 impact rating and a recommended -40°C to +110°C operating range.
Per the drawing the enclosure is 120.00 x 90.00 mm with a 45.45 mm overall height, giving 112.99 mm of inside length, 82.99 mm of inside width and 39.35 mm of inside height. Boards up to 108.4 x 77.5 mm are listed as the maximum; they can sit on M3 brass inserts or #6 self-tapping standoffs, or in card guides for 1.5 mm boards. DIN rail tabs are molded in, and the 1554FPL steel inner panel is ordered separately.
The lid is sealed with a two piece tongue and groove joint and a one-piece silicone gasket (supplied loose), then secured with four included M4 stainless steel self-captivating screws. Four Ø4.30 mm wall-mounting holes are located outside the gasket channel and also accept the 1554FT foot kit. The 1554FL2GYCL weighs 0.36 lbs (0.16 kg) shipped and is REACH and RoHS compliant.
