Hammond 1554F2GYSL 120x90x61mm Polycarbonate Enclosure, Smoked Lid

The 1554F2GYSL combines a light gray (RAL 7035) polycarbonate base with a smoked polycarbonate flat lid in the 120 x 90 x 61 mm 1554F size. A smoked lid gives a tinted view into the enclosure, which suits product designers and integrators who want indicators to remain visible while the contents stay subdued.

The part carries a UL94 V-0 flame rating (the rating the series gives for clear and smoked lids), is cUL and UL 508A listed under file E65324, and is REACH and RoHS compliant. Like all 1554 polycarbonate versions it is UV stabilized for outdoor use, IK08 impact rated and recommended for -40°C to +110°C operation.

Environmental ratings are IP68 and NEMA 4, 4X, 6, 6P, 12 and 13. Sealing comes from a two piece tongue and groove lid with a one-piece silicone gasket that is supplied loose inside the box. Four self-captivating M4 stainless steel screws are included and thread into corrosion resistant inserts in the lid, so the lid can be removed and refitted repeatedly.

Drawing dimensions are 120.00 x 90.00 mm overall with a height of 60.50 mm; inside, the box offers 112.91 x 80.91 mm with a 54.50 mm inside height. PC boards up to 77.47 x 108.41 mm mount on M3 brass inserts or #6 self-tapping standoffs, or slide into card guides sized for 1.5 mm boards, and DIN rail tabs are molded in. The 1554F2GYSL mounts through 4X Ø4.00 mm holes outside the gasket, and ships shrink wrapped at 0.42 lbs (0.19 kg).
