1554E2GYCL combines a square light gray RAL 7035 polycarbonate box with a clear polycarbonate lid, measuring 3.54 x 3.54 x 2.40 in (90 x 90 x 61 mm). The clear cover lets technicians read displays and indicator LEDs without breaking the seal, which suits outdoor monitoring and control electronics.
The enclosure is UV stabilized for outdoor use, cUL and UL 508A listed under file E65324, and independently tested to IP66, IP67 and IP68 as well as NEMA Type 4, 4X, 6, 6P, 12 and 13. The clear lid has a UL94 V-0 flame rating. Impact rating is IK08 per IEC 62262:2021, and the recommended operating temperature is -40°C to +110°C (-40°F to +230°F).
Interior space is 82.91 x 78.91 mm with 54.50 mm of height. Size E includes molded DIN rail tabs, threaded M3 brass inserts, standoffs for #6 self-tapping screws and vertical card guides for 1.5 mm boards; maximum board size is 77.47 x 78.41 mm. The 1554EPL steel inner panel is available separately.
The lid seals with a tongue and groove joint and a one-piece high temperature silicone gasket, supplied loose, and is fastened by four included self-captivating M4 stainless steel screws in corrosion resistant inserts (43-57 oz f-in, 30-40 cN-m). Four 4 mm mounting holes outside the gasket channel handle wall mounting or the 1554FT foot kit. The 1554E2GYCL weighs 0.35 lbs (0.16 kg) shipped.
