Hammond 1554E2GY 90x90x61mm Gray Polycarbonate NEMA 4X Enclosure

The 1554E2GY is a square 3.54 x 3.54 x 2.40 in (90 x 90 x 61 mm) polycarbonate watertight enclosure with a solid light gray RAL 7035 lid. It is built for outdoor and harsh-environment electronics where a compact, NEMA rated housing is needed for a PC board or DIN rail component.

Polycarbonate versions are UV stabilized for outdoor use, and the solid gray material carries a UL94-5VA rating. The enclosure is cUL and UL 508A listed under file E65324 and independently tested to IP66, IP67, IP68 and NEMA Type 4, 4X, 6, 6P, 12 and 13. Impact rating is IK08 per IEC 62262:2021; recommended operating temperature is -40°C to +110°C (-40°F to +230°F).

The flat lid uses a two-piece tongue and groove joint and a one-piece high temperature silicone gasket, packed loose inside. Four included self-captivating M4 stainless steel screws go into corrosion resistant inserts; tighten to 43-57 oz f-in (30-40 cN-m). Accessories include the 1554EPL steel inner panel, 1554EGASKET and SC576-50 screws. The 1554E2GY ships at 0.35 lbs (0.16 kg).
